The PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kondagaon was established in the academic session 2020-21 under the Civil Sector located in Kondagaon, Chhattisgarh.
PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Kondagaon stands as a pivotal institution in the educational landscape of Chhattisgarh, particularly within the remote and historically significant Bastar division. Situated in the Kondagaon district, the school is not merely a center for academic instruction but a crucial instrument for socio-economic upliftment, providing high-quality, standardized education under the aegis of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The recent designation as a PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) school marks a significant evolution, integrating cutting-edge educational reforms and infrastructure enhancements envisioned in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to transform it into a model institution for the region.The school functions with one section from class I to X.

The primary mission of PM SHRI KV Kondagaon, consistent with the KVS framework, is to cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees, including defense and paramilitary personnel, ensuring continuity in their academic pursuits across different parts of the country. This inherently creates a mini-India within the school premises, fostering national integration and a profound appreciation for India’s linguistic and cultural diversity among its students. The Vidyalaya is situated Eight Kms away from the Collectorate of Kondagaon, in a Natural Green Environment. Vidyalaya comes under Raipur Region. Our Vidyalaya aims at academic excellence and personality development enriching National Integration and a sense of “Indianness” among the children.
